As for the company selling the throw, the shipping and delivery went smoothly.As for the product.If you are looking for a thin cheap throw, you've found it.On the other hand if you are looking for a thick nice twin sized blanket, keep looking.If the shipping wasn't so high, I would return it.
It is cute and my grandson will like it, but by no stretch of the imagination is it a twin sized blanket.It is the same thickness as throws I have bought in the passed for 3 for $10.So what you are paying for is the disney name and picture.

Since great grandson Devon has outgrown his "baby" bed and delights in being a "big boy," my son (his great uncle) decided to buy him a more appropriate toddler bed.

Devon is too young to have chosen a favorite sport--or anything that would make a theme easy--so Bob asked my advice on the bedding. Bob and I were both going out of town (various destinations) for the weekend and had no time to shop, so we surfed Amazon and selected Olive Kids Wild Animals Toddler Sheetset. We knew he'd like these sheets because he likes animals, dancing, giggling and reaching out to them when he sees them on TV. What kid doesn't like animals? Right?

We also like these sheets because the colors are appropriate for our "big boy" and the ultra-soft cotton/poly blend is soft and smooth on his still-sensitive skin.

It seems odd to see Devon in a "big-boy" bed, but no doubt it makes him feel happy to no longer be "cooped up behind bars." Now he can get in and out on his own, and, hopefully, he's old enough not to overdo it. I just hope Mommy can keep up with him, but if not, there's always the play-pen. (lol)

This is a soft rug that's very thin, so don't expect a thick pad under your feet. It's cut on the sides so looks like pictured, but maybe because my tiles aren't all white like the web page background, I was a little disappointed it's not as cute as I thought. Not that it's bad or anything, but consider the floor you'll put it on. I put it once in the wash, cold water, so I don't know if it can survive frequent washings.

I suggest, if possible, buying from [...] or in-store, so in the rare chance you want to return it, you can.

We just bought this bed for our 2 year old son who loved his crib.Well, one night in this bed and he loves it.The first night he kept climbing out of the bed and walking around the house, but the second night he slept all the way through.The bed is great with a crib mattress because the sides are high enough that he doesn't role out.Shipping is out of control but JcPenneys had the bed for the same price as the store near us and we got it sooner.

I recently bought this to replace a similar item I had had for years that finally stopped working (the suction cups no longer stayed attached to the basket). This one looks the same, but does not work. The suction cups stop holding after only 15 minutes. I installed it on the same wall, and cleaned the wall thoroughly first. I think the suction cup material must be less flexible. So I recommend against buying this product.

Assembly was easy.For kids though, the ladders are a little too vertical.My 4 year old would have prefered the steps offset just enough to see them.Once she got used to swinging her legs over the side and finding a step it was okay, but getting to that point was a little iffy.

If they made it so each step was 2 or 4 inches farther out than the previous one, it would give young ones a little bit more confidence and it would keep me and my wife from worrying about midnight potty runs.

Also, get it and measure depth before buying mattreses.I got standard mattresses, but they are really about 4 inches too high.I think the thickness of 2 or so inches above the top step on the ladder would be prefect, but mine are so thick they are about 7 inches above the step, also negating the sides that I hope prevent the little one from rolling off.

Pirate Skull Shower Curtain Review

My son wanted to do something different in his bathroom but we had a hard time finding something that wasnt babyish or dull. He is going on 13 and wanted something kind of fun and funky. He liked the skull theme but the only curtains we could find were vinyl. I like the idea of a cloth curtain as it will last and wont have that icky plastic smell like most vinyl shower curtains do. This worked out well as the pirate skulls are not over powering, nor have a young child feel either. The bones have a slight blue and gray tint on the edges and I painted his bathroom off that color. The shower curtain has grommets around the holes to hang on the shower hooks which I appreciated as a lot of shower curtains will begin to tear from this point. Over all I am pretty happy with this purchase. Shipping rates werent bad either. I only gave it 4 stars as I would have preferred the fabric to be a bit thicker.

I agree on the color - it is definitely "cream & black" - not crisp white. Also, beware the bed skirt is a velvet/cotton block pattern - still all black but definitely wasn't what I expected.The look is awesome, I paired it with black sheets which I think look better than cream sheets.Also, comforter is extremely stiff for my liking but I'm taking it to the dry cleaners to see if that may help a little.Overall, happy with my purchase - just not the best of descriptions online.

The bamboo/cotton mix is nice. However, it just doesn't feel like you are buying super high quality sheets. That list price is probably bogus.

The Slanket Blanket With Sleeves - Chocolate Color Review

There are now quite a few different companies making these sleeved blankets and given how popular Slankets became last Christmas, its not surprising to see so many different companies trying to take advantage of what is no doubt a very good idea. As anyone who lives in colder climates will tell you, there are times when you wish you could just stay bundled up in your blanket and with a Slanket you can. A Slanket is basically a blanket with sleeves. This allows you to have full use of your hands and arms while remaining completely covered with the blanket. It may look a little funny but its functionality is so nice that you quickly learn to not give a rats behind what you look like while wearing a Slanket. I use it for reading, using my laptop and playing my xBox360. The days of having cold arms while the rest of your body is nice and toasty are over.

Out of all of the companies making sleeved blankets, Slanket is without a doubt the highest quality. I have seen first hand most of the other versions and they just do not compare quality wise. The one in particular that you should stay away from is the Snuggie. They are usually sold in a 2 for 1 manner which should tell you something right off the bat. Overall they are extremely thin and the fleece starts pilling after just a couple of washes. Slankets are made with much higher quality fleece, are much thicker and I have yet to see any pilling and I have washed some of my slankets at least 15-20 times.

For those who are unschooled in the different qualities of fleece, pilling occurs when the garment's fibers roll up, often after being washed, and lie on the surface like tiny round pills. This pilling effect seriously effects almost every aspect of the fleece including how it feels and its ability to keep heat in. All fleece pills eventually. You can tell how old a Patagonia Synchilla jacket is based off of how much pilling has taken place. High quality fleece doesn't pill for quite some time and cheap fleece starts to pill almost immediately. For example it literally takes years before Patagonia fleece products begin to pill. Again I had serious pilling after only 2 washes with the Snuggies and I am well over 20 washes with some of my Slankets and they still haven't shown any sign of pilling yet. The bottom line is that Slankets are made from a much higher quality fleece. Anyone who tells you differently simply doesn't know what they are talking about.

Its important to note that there are 2 separate versions of the Slanket floating around out there. There is the main version which is sold through the Slanket website. The vast majority of slanket's currently in the marketplace are this kind of Slanket. The 2nd version of the Slanket is the one that was made to be sold exclusively through QVC which, in case you don't know, is a home shopping network. The QVC Slanket is actually considerably different than the original version. The most obvious differences are the thickness and overall softness. The QVC Slanket is much thinner and much softer than the original version. The Original version really feels like a Patagonia Synchilla fleece jacket and the QVC version feels like the fur on a rabbits foot. The final difference between the two is in the sizes. The QVC version is much shorter than the original and this is because it was designed so that one could actually walk around while wearing it. You can still walk around with the original version Slankets however its far more difficult as its a couple feet longer which makes it very easy to trip on. You usually have to bunch up and hold the bottom of the Slanket if you want to walk around in an Original version.

I actually own 2 of both Slanket versions and to be honest I don't have a favorite. I like both versions about the same as they both have their strong points. One thing is for sure and that is that both Slanket versions are vastly superior to anything else on the market. If your interested in buying a sleeved blanket then you really shouldn't even consider buying anything but a Slanket. Overall they do exactly what they are supposed to do. What more can you really ask for.

Bottom line - A cold weather necessity!!

It is true that the directions are not very clear, but it is easy enough to figure out because of the size of the pre-drilled holes and the hardware.The only real problem we have is with the drawer.It fits on the rails just fine and will pull in and out smoothly, but you won't want to put anything in it that weighs very much.We put extra packages of diapers in it and the drawer would fall right off the rails from the weight.We moved the diapers and just keep extra sheets and blankets down there now and we haven't had any problems.Other than that, the crib is beautiful and nobody can tell that we took the cheaper route and assembled it ourselves.We saved a ton of money from the other sets we liked.We have the rest of the set(changing table, dresser with hutch and 5 drawer chest) and the drawers on those pieces seem to pull in and out much smoother than even the most expensive sets!

This crib is extremely difficult to put together. The instructions are very difficult to follow, and the pictures are incorrect. They show 4 corner brackets that are not the corner brackets that came with the bed. It took us three nights to put this bed together. THEN the mattress (which was one of the options with the crib) doesn't even sit down on the mattress board. It just sits on top of the corner brackets. This crib is listed as being easy to assemble which is a joke. I would like to contact the maker of this crib but I cannot find that option anywhere. I feel like I have purchased a crib and mattress that I will never be able to use.

We bought both the Saffron crib and 5 drawer chest.It took Amazon a little longer than expected to ship them.I'm used to Amazon shipping things the day after I order.This took about a week to ship.No big deal really since the baby is still in the bassinet.
This is our second crib and drawer set from Westwood studios.When my son was born in 2008 we bought a Hart Meadwodale setWestwood Design/Hart Meadowdale Convertible Crib, Brown Chestnut from BabyDepot in a local Burlington Coat Factory.I wish I had known that Amazon carried it.Burlington had to deliver it 3 times because their shipping kept destroying them.They always blamed the fact that they are made overseas as to why they were beat to he!!.The shipment from amazon came with NO shipping damage and a friendly delivery man.We loved the design and engineering of the set.I was impressed with the actual dovetail joinery on the dresser.Even on higher end furniture I'm seeing less and less care in the product design.When we moved I accidentally threw away the springboard.This is how I learned that Hart Furniture is a subsidiary of Westwood Design Studio.When I called to order a new springboard the phone was answered "Westwood Design".When I explained to the operator what I had done they told me that they had the part in their warehouse and could send it to me Fed-Ex so I could get my kid back in his bed.She then asked if there was anything else that I needed and I prepared to find out what kind of damage my mistake was about to make on my wallet.To my total shock she said there was no charge and they would just send it.2 days later it was on the doorstep.It's amazing how a little customer service goes a long way.A $20 part and they sold themselves another $1400 crib/drawer set.Enough with my rave on the manufacturer.

The Saffron set we bought was designed well, including the dovetailed drawers.The assembly is pretty simply and comes with the tools required.It's quite heavy, have a helper ready if you need to move it any distance.The hand carved detail work looks great.The only complaints we have are that (1) there was a slight knick in the dresser.This was not from shipping.It was in the board before they painted it. (2)It was painted after it was assembled and I can see the timber in one of the seams.If you aren't looking you don't know it's there though.I still give this set 5 stars and would easily purchase it again from Amazon.

Crib was easy to set up and VERY STURDY once put together.The only down side was that there a couple of scratches on the product when we got it.Since they were on the back side (thankfully) we didn't worry too much about it.Height of crib is a little taller (but that works great for my husband and I as we are 5'8" and 6'8").

The rack is very cute. I bought this for my son's "froggy" bathroom. It has functional value and fits the decor in the room. The only drawback is that the hooks on top that go over the door are way too wide. I suppose they wanted it more versatile so that it could fit over any door, but I have an inch of extra wiggle room at the top and I have a standard sized door. It makes it difficult to close the door and the rack shifts back and forth a lot. We'll probably correct the issues ourselves by bending and cutting the metal hooks at some point.

I bought two different touch-free liquid soap dispensers from Amazon in September 2008, the Simplehuman and the Allton SD1020.I used the Simplehuman for a month and then used the Allton the following month (with regular Softsoap brand liquid hand soap I bought from Costco).It gets used about 10 times a day.

The Allton works better and it cost 25% less.

The Simplehuman does not give enough soap, and it has to be primed before each use.There is a little button on the top which activates the pump and will prime the unit, but that is hardly touch-free.When using it normally (with the touch-free IR sensor), it gives about a pea size amount of soap.I find myself needing to use it 3 times to get enough soap.(It is set at the highest setting)

The Allton has never needed re-priming (after the first time used), and always gives a perfect amount of soap.

This storage bag is perfect! It comes compact and can go right back to that easily if it is not being used. It holds a ton of baby clothes and blankets (what I have in mine) and slides under the bed easily.

My favorite thing about it is that it isn't a hard plastic shape that won't bend in tight spaces. I actually have two of these stacked on top of each other under my daughter's daybed.

It is a little flimsy when there is nothing in it, but if there is nothing in it, just fold it up and store it away.

My toddler is finally moving to a big boy bed, and he loves Bob the Builder so I was excited to find this at Amazon.However, I was less excited once it arrived.The pillowcase is a very low quality fabric and not at all what I had envisioned.It feels more polyester than cotton, even though the percentages indicate it's more cotton.I'm going to keep it, but only because it would cost me more to mail it back than it's really worth.It is a cute pillowcase - very bright and colorful.Sorry for the bad review, but I'm extremely disappointed.

Looks- You would have to see it in a store because the picture does not do it justice. The set is really cute and perfect if your looking for a gender neutral set that's not animals, and there are many pastel colors in this set to do up a nursery in.

Quality- The quilt and bumper are thick and soft. The fitted sheet has yet ripped and nothing has come off or ran in the wash. The Moblie is soild and should fit easily on the crib without issues unless defective.

Overall- I would give it five stars except I havent had the set that long to put through the test of time yet.

The Slanket Blanket With Sleeves - Beige Color Review

There are now quite a few different companies making these sleeved blankets and given how popular Slankets became last Christmas, its not surprising to see so many different companies trying to take advantage of what is no doubt a very good idea. As anyone who lives in colder climates will tell you, there are times when you wish you could just stay bundled up in your blanket and with a Slanket you can. A Slanket is basically a blanket with sleeves. This allows you to have full use of your hands and arms while remaining completely covered with the blanket. It may look a little funny but its functionality is so nice that you quickly learn to not give a rats behind what you look like while wearing a Slanket. I use it for reading, using my laptop and playing my xBox360. The days of having cold arms while the rest of your body is nice and toasty are over.

Out of all of the companies making sleeved blankets, Slanket is without a doubt the highest quality. I have seen first hand most of the other versions and they just do not compare quality wise. The one in particular that you should stay away from is the Snuggie. They are usually sold in a 2 for 1 manner which should tell you something right off the bat. Overall they are extremely thin and the fleece starts pilling after just a couple of washes. Slankets are made with much higher quality fleece, are much thicker and I have yet to see any pilling and I have washed some of my slankets at least 15-20 times.

For those who are unschooled in the different qualities of fleece, pilling occurs when the garment's fibers roll up, often after being washed, and lie on the surface like tiny round pills. This pilling effect seriously effects almost every aspect of the fleece including how it feels and its ability to keep heat in. All fleece pills eventually. You can tell how old a Patagonia Synchilla jacket is based off of how much pilling has taken place. High quality fleece doesn't pill for quite some time and cheap fleece starts to pill almost immediately. For example it literally takes years before Patagonia fleece products begin to pill. Again I had serious pilling after only 2 washes with the Snuggies and I am well over 20 washes with some of my Slankets and they still haven't shown any sign of pilling yet. The bottom line is that Slankets are made from a much higher quality fleece. Anyone who tells you differently simply doesn't know what they are talking about.

Its important to note that there are 2 separate versions of the Slanket floating around out there. There is the main version which is sold through the Slanket website. The vast majority of slanket's currently in the marketplace are this kind of Slanket. The 2nd version of the Slanket is the one that was made to be sold exclusively through QVC which, in case you don't know, is a home shopping network. The QVC Slanket is actually considerably different than the original version. The most obvious differences are the thickness and overall softness. The QVC Slanket is much thinner and much softer than the original version. The Original version really feels like a Patagonia Synchilla fleece jacket and the QVC version feels like the fur on a rabbits foot. The final difference between the two is in the sizes. The QVC version is much shorter than the original and this is because it was designed so that one could actually walk around while wearing it. You can still walk around with the original version Slankets however its far more difficult as its a couple feet longer which makes it very easy to trip on. You usually have to bunch up and hold the bottom of the Slanket if you want to walk around in an Original version.

I actually own 2 of both Slanket versions and to be honest I don't have a favorite. I like both versions about the same as they both have their strong points. One thing is for sure and that is that both Slanket versions are vastly superior to anything else on the market. If your interested in buying a sleeved blanket then you really shouldn't even consider buying anything but a Slanket. Overall they do exactly what they are supposed to do. What more can you really ask for.

Bottom line - A cold weather necessity!! Edit.......

I was actually on the QVC website last night and was absolutely blown away at how many Slankets they now sell. Last Xmas they had only 1, which I described in my review. That meant in total there were 2 different kinds of slankets, the one on [...] and the special edition QVC version. Well that is simply no longer the case. QVC now has 4 different slankets. They have the one they sold last year which is called the The Slanket Deluxe (66"x62"), I actually purchased 2 of these last year. In addition they also now have the The Slanket Fleece (95"x60"), the The Slanket Youth (48" x 48"), and The Ultimate Slanket w/Foot Pocket (80"x60").

The Ultimate Slanket with Foot pocket sounds interesting. Here is QVC's description "This new version of the much-loved wearable warmer trumps the original with the addition of two pockets: a bottom pocket to keep feet toasty and a front pocket for your hands--and for stowing (or hiding) the remote control"

Anyways I figured I would update this review with these new versions.

this was a great find after reading all the toxins that regular mattresses have. this one is great, it is seamless so less dust collects. Also, the firmness of the mattress is perfect. our baby sleeps without a peep through the night. he is very comfortable in it. its a great investment as our baby will use it for a couple of years. I would rather spend more on the crib mattress than the crib, since babies sleep so many hours.
